    The only reason …
The only reason conservatives can get away with calling the idea of Universal Health Care “Socialism” is because there were no Americans enlightened enough to engrain the ideas of free health care into our heads during the founding of the nation. If they had, this wouldn’t even be an issue because the idea would be just as much a part of the way we did things as our notion of free public (and compulsory) education.

    This guy is right. …
This guy is right. Business discriminates against old people because they have high medical costs. The same is true of disabled people, pregnant women etc. If we had Universal Health Care huge groups of people could find gainful employment where now they can’t.

    Dude, people are …
Dude, people are dying in masses from UHC in Britain and France. 15,000 people died in France back in 2003 from a standard issue *heatwave* because the mismanagment of their “luxurious” hospitals.
You keep repeating the same overly generalized sensationalistic mantra about the “evil corporations.” You come off looking like a fool.
I’m done wasting my time with someone whose head it stuck so far up his he can’t open his mind to opinions that experts have on that matter.
    Take care.

    dude people are …
dude people are dying in this country from this failed health care policy … your a pink slip away from not having health care yourself .. we need to regulate these hospitals and insurance companies from owning the market and charging whatever they want … just like the oil companies , just like wall street , it’s too important to let someone OWN the market .. lives depend on it .. even if it’s not FREE lets make it available to everyone.. with NO DISCRIMINATION …

    (cont.)In normal …
(cont.)In normal rational circles it’s dismissed as crazy talk. You have a right to your life, freedom of speech, etc.
Commodity is commodity, not something taht should be handed out to you unconditionally.
It’s a basic foundamental principle of economics. Something Leftist loonies have no grasp on.

I was born and raised in Europe and the middle east. So with all due respect to your relatives telling you bedtime stories about their experience, you kept living as a priviledged first world country resident all your life (while complaining about it, mind you.The hypocrisy is benumbing)
It is most certainly not a “right”. Only your knee jerk socialist friends can make that claim.

    First I don’t care …
First I don’t care what you say because I’ve researched it … your word is not the final word on that number … second … My father , Uncle and grandparents were born in England and I have generations from there … health care is a right for all citizens and they would have it NO OTHER WAY … if they tried to allow insurance companies to control the market they would riot in the streets … man you have to admit our current system is failing … don’t you see that ?

    Keep on “LOL”ing, …
Keep on “LOL”ing, buddy. You’ll need a good sense of humor to blanket the grim outcome that will come of UHC implimentation.

BTW, have you actually lived long enough in Europe to speak of how “everyone LOVES their service?”
    Just wondering…

Obama baby!Change!Yes we can!…erm…I’m out of vain campaign driven slants :*(
I’m sure that the rest of the 200 million Americans that will suffer under this backwarded UHC gov. program are going to give El Jefe that support he needs.
Good luck getting routinly and serious medical attention, while waiting for 7 month for an operation, while paying 30% out of your paycheck for it.

OH and hey dude by the way….did you know thousands upon thousands of Canadians flock across their southern border to American hospitals? I’m guessing your media doesn’t tell you that, eh?
They can well afford and standard medical coverage. Most of those families you’re talking about make on average from 50K to 70k a year. They can afford healthcare coverage if they wanted, it’s just that it’s easy to mope around and playthe vicim(like you are doing.)
In Mex. it’s cheaper in quality too

OR they have a pre existing condition that the insurance companies WONT cover… so there running to Mexico for treatment… think about that for a second… going to a 3rd world country for medical help when your living in the greatest nation in the world…

This is another example of your tainted view… were talking about something so serious to Americans and your talking about miss spelled words LOL …. OH and when you start talking about taxes HEY lets spend 3,000 per American to bail out wall street BUT GOD help us if we spend money to bail out this failed health care system… I’ll reach into my pocket if it means I can help out someone in need… change is what is coming and change is what this country needs in health care…

  17. regelemihai said:

    Are the same …
Are the same thousands of Canadians who march across the border each year into the U.S to get medical attention “love” their healthcare?
England has one of the most poorly managed HC sustems in the world. They love it so much, that ppl are being forced to plug out their own teeth and do their own filling because they were put on one year waiting lists. SUPER!
The London Times also says that the taxes are as high as 1,155$ per month. That is higher than any premium in the U.S.
    Stop being a tool.

    I’ll try to swim …
I’ll try to swim through all of this verbal diarrhea of spelling errors and try to put it simply for ya’:
Insurance companies are forced to drop your coverage in extreme cases, For example: preexisting conditions.
“Try like to deny”? Maybe that’s why on average the pacient satisfaction with those insurance companies is at an 87% rate?
It’s affordable enough for anyone to buy a standard health insurance policy.Under the gov. you’ll have the shittiest one, and it’s gonna be mandatory.

  19. funkyflights said:

Dude give it up … …
Dude give it up …. England and Canada LOVE THERE HEALTH CARE… I have family from Portsmouth England and they LOVE LOVE LOVE there health care… its funny how you point out the negative but leave out the positive… health care is a right a HUMAN RIGHT in England and they love it… Canadians also LOVE there health care… my friend from Seattle just went to Canada to have a surgery for a quarter the price … lol dude time to give it up …

  20. funkyflights said:

    PLEASE…. …
PLEASE…. Insurance companies and drug companies OWN the market… hospitals charge to much … insurance companies in return charge to much …. Insurance companies want to make a profit so they try like to deny your coverage and exclude high risk patients… in the end the doctor patient care relationship is broken by the BIG dollar sign and always needing approval to do a procedure by the insurance companies… see the problem here .. wake up dude… wake the up

    I LIVED in Europe …
I LIVED in Europe all my life, that’s why I asked you.
Sweden has its pluses, but it is far from being “200X better than the U.S”. It’s a gross overstatement.
They certainly do not have a better standard of living accroding to the economic freedom index and many other aspects.
They are being taxed into submission. I have a friend who lived in Denemark for 3 years and couldn’t stand it. He had to move back to Romania(the irony!)
I hope you find what you’re looking for, though.

My mother is a doctor, many of my friends are doctors, I can point them out to you if you want a real perspective on that matter.
Who are *your* illustrious doctor friends who support an enslavment of the average American to the Gov.?
Klim tells you that out of those 40 million uninsured(40, not 50, you windbag) 12 millions are illegals, but you dismiss it and continue to repeat the number.
    Are you seriously deranged?
They can’t focus on pacients?!where do you get this from?Any source?

  24. regelemihai said:

    When you’re …
When you’re enrolled under a *mandatory* universal gov care you’re just as much under the risk of being “denied” care when it’s on the brink of bankruptcy, and the long waiting lists that pile on play an “ini-mini” game with its pacients.
It’s easy to look at it from a one-sided view. Slanting the “they have to bamboozle you with propaganda to make profit” mantra is also supericial and incongruent with the situation. A capitalist can argue a hyperbole just as well.
