Modern medical …
Modern medical science is working against one of the most basic forces of nature: natural selection. The more we treat illnesses, the more illness there will be in future generations. Medicine is destroying the capacity of the human race to evolve.

Bear in mind that …
Bear in mind that this video isn’t only about healthcare. This is Microsoft so their focus is more likely on the new software and things like that they can promote and sell. In terms of this video, notice how many new software interface styles and ideas are presented. Like the TV interface, and the use of the woman’s phone as a wii-style remote control; she also charges it by putting it on a plate, which also has a display of its own. Remember after all, Microsoft isn’t a healthcare provider.

all looks fancy and …
all looks fancy and futuristic, but total b.s as far as future of medicine. from the perspective of someone in health care, finding an ophthalmoscope, remembering which pill to take, or registering at the clinic is the least of anyone’s concerns right now regarding modern medicine. what about improving access to and delivery of the basic, proven medical know-how we already have? plenty of other issues to address in health care first. leave the amazing computer stuff to media and entertainment.
